Instructions
- Boil the Noodles: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve about ½ cup of the pasta water.
- Sauté the Garlic: In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1–2 minutes.
- Create the Cream Sauce: Lower heat and add cream, stirring until combined. Gradually mix in Parmesan cheese to create a smooth sauce. Adjust thickness with reserved pasta water as needed.
- Combine and Serve: Add drained noodles to the sauce, tossing to coat. Season with salt and pepper. Fold in fresh herbs if using.
- Garnish and Enjoy: Serve warm, topped with extra Parmesan and seasoning as desired.
