Description

A quick and flavorful crab linguine, perfect for weeknight dinners or special gatherings, combining crab meat, garlic, and fresh herbs in a buttery sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 8 oz fresh lump crab meat
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente, salting the water generously.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat, then add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until golden and fragrant.
  3. Gently toss in the cooked linguine and crab meat, stirring to combine without breaking up the crab.
  4. Add lemon juice, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Toss well to heat through for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Finish with fresh parsley and serve immediately while warm.

Notes

For substitutions, shrimp can be used instead of crab, and dried herbs can be used in a pinch. Pair with a side salad and a chilled white wine.
