Description

A luxurious yet simple dish combining fresh crab, linguine, and aromatic flavors, perfect for a family dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz linguine
  • 8 oz fresh crab meat
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ cup dry white wine
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the linguine until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water and drain.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter and olive oil over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add white wine, scraping up bits from the skillet. Let it simmer for a couple of minutes.
  4. Gently fold in the fresh crab meat until just warmed through.
  5. Toss in the drained linguine with a splash of reserved pasta water until well combined.
  6. Season with red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Finish with parsley and grated Parmesan.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, substitute linguine with gluten-free pasta. Shredded rotisserie chicken can be used instead of crab for a different flavor.
