Description
A luxurious yet simple dish combining fresh crab, linguine, and aromatic flavors, perfect for a family dinner.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz linguine
- 8 oz fresh crab meat
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ¼ cup dry white wine
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- Fresh parsley, chopped
- Parmesan cheese, grated
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the linguine until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water and drain.
- In a skillet, melt butter and olive oil over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add white wine, scraping up bits from the skillet. Let it simmer for a couple of minutes.
- Gently fold in the fresh crab meat until just warmed through.
- Toss in the drained linguine with a splash of reserved pasta water until well combined.
- Season with red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Finish with parsley and grated Parmesan.
Notes
For a gluten-free option, substitute linguine with gluten-free pasta. Shredded rotisserie chicken can be used instead of crab for a different flavor.
