- 2 teaspoons gelatin
Instructions
- Prepare the Strawberries: Wash, remove the tops, and slice strawberries in half. Puree half in a blender.
- Sweeten the Berries: Mix pureed strawberries with sugar, adjusting sweetness to preference. Chop remaining strawberries.
- Whip the Cream: In a chilled bowl, whip cream until soft peaks form.
- Combine Everything: Fold strawberry puree into whipped cream and mix in chopped strawberries.
- Bloom the Gelatin: Dissolve gelatin in warm water, let it bloom, then stir into the mousse mixture.
- Chill the Mousse: Spoon into cups and refrigerate for at least 120 minutes to set.
- Serve with Joy: Top with extra whipped cream or fresh strawberries before serving.
Notes
For a lighter option, substitute heavy cream with coconut cream. If using frozen strawberries, ensure they are thawed and drained well.
