- 1 cup cream or milk (or non-dairy alternative)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- In a large pot over medium heat, melt butter. Add diced onions and minced garlic, sautéing until tender and fragrant.
- Add sliced mushrooms and cook until golden brown and juices are released.
- Pour in the broth and add diced carrots and celery. Simmer for 20 minutes.
- Stir in the cream or milk, adjusting thickness as preferred. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add fresh herbs just before serving to preserve flavor.
