Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, melt butter. Add diced onions and minced garlic, sautéing until tender and fragrant.
  2. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until golden brown and juices are released.
  3. Pour in the broth and add diced carrots and celery. Simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. Stir in the cream or milk, adjusting thickness as preferred. Season with salt and pepper.
