Description

A refreshing Apple Salad with a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors, made with crisp apples, crunchy nuts, and a tangy dressing.


Ingredients

  • 3 Apples (Honeycrisp, Granny Smith, or Gala)
  • 4 cups Baby spinach or fresh arugula
  • 1 cup Toasted walnuts or pecans
  • ½ cup Crumbled feta or goat cheese
  • ¼ cup Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Dried cranberries, sunflower seeds, fresh mint or basil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Wash and dry apples, core and slice them into thin wedges.
  2. Set Up the Greens: In a large bowl, lay down a bed of greens.
  3. Mix in the Apples and Nuts: Toss sliced apples over the greens and sprinkle nuts on top.
  4. Add Cheese: Crumble cheese over the salad evenly.
  5. Whisk the Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk olive oil, lemon juice, honey, salt, and pepper.
  6. Dress the Salad: Drizzle dressing over the salad just before serving and toss gently.
