Description

Delightful puff pastry bites filled with creamy brie and tart cranberries, perfect for gatherings and special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of puff pastry
  • 1 wheel of brie cheese
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar or honey
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary or thyme, chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into squares.
  3. Place a small dollop of cranberry sauce in the center of each pastry square, followed by a piece of brie.
  4. Sprinkle a little brown sugar or honey over the brie if desired.
  5. Sprinkle fresh herbs over the brie and cranberry.
  6. Fold the corners of the pastry over to form a parcel and pinch the seams to seal.
  7. Brush the top of each parcel with the egg wash.
  8. Bake on a lined baking sheet for 15-20 minutes or until golden and flaky.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Consider sprinkling sea salt on top before baking for added flavor.
