Delightfully fluffy baked donuts filled with colorful funfetti sprinkles and a protein boost.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup protein powder (vanilla or unflavored)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs (or flax eggs for vegan)
- 1/2 cup milk (whole, almond, or your preference)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup butter (melted, or coconut oil for dairy-free)
- 1/4 cup funfetti sprinkles (plus more for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Lightly grease your donut pan with cooking spray or butter.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, protein powder, baking powder, and sugar.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, folding gently until just combined.
- Fold in the sprinkles, saving some for topping.
- Fill each cavity of the donut pan about 2/3 full using a piping bag.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack and top with more sprinkles.
Notes
Experiment with flavors by adding almond extract or citrus zest. For glazing, mix powdered sugar with milk and vanilla.
