Description
Soft, fluffy muffins filled with crushed Oreos that evoke memories and bring loved ones together.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies
- Optional: 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease it lightly.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and vegetable oil until fully combined. Add a splash of vanilla extract if desired.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
- Fold in the crushed Oreos.
- Fill each muffin cup about three-quarters full.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the tin for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For a nuttier flavor, substitute all-purpose flour with whole wheat flour. You can also replace vegetable oil with melted butter for a richer taste.
