Instructions

- Mash the ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl, leaving some chunks for texture.
- Melt the chopped chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl over simmering water or in the microwave until smooth.
- Combine the melted chocolate with the mashed bananas, heavy cream, and vanilla extract, mixing until glossy.
- Add sugar to taste, balancing the sweetness.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and bake for 20–25 minutes, until slightly set.
- Let the dessert cool for a few minutes before serving, optionally garnished with whipped cream or banana slices.
