Description

Ingredients

  • 1 package all-butter puff pastry (thawed)
  • 3 ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. Cut the pastry into squares or rectangles (about 3 inches wide).
  4. Mash the ripe bananas in a bowl and mix in the brown sugar until well blended.
  5. Place a spoonful of the banana mixture at the center of each pastry square.
  6. Fold the pastry over the filling to create a triangle or rectangle and seal the edges tightly.
  7. Place the pastry bites on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

Serve with chocolate sauce for an extra indulgence. These bites can also be frozen before baking.
