Description
A luxurious and tender cut of beef that brings joy to every dining table, perfect for family gatherings and special occasions.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 Beef Tenderloin (grass-fed preferred)
- 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 2 tablespoons Fresh Herbs (Rosemary and Thyme)
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil (extra virgin)
- Salt (to taste)
- Pepper (to taste)
- Optional: Sautéed mushrooms or red wine reduction sauce
Instructions
- Trim any excess fat and silverskin from the Beef Tenderloin, then pat it dry with a paper towel.
- Season the meat generously with salt and pepper. Mix minced garlic and chopped herbs with olive oil to form a paste, and rub it all over the meat. Marinate for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Heat a large, oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat with a drizzle of olive oil.
- Once the oil is hot, add the Beef Tenderloin and sear for 3-4 minutes without moving it. Continue to turn and brown on all sides.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and roast for 15-20 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare.
- Remove from the oven, cover loosely with foil, and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
Notes
For best results, avoid overcooking. Use a kitchen thermometer for precise cooking. Let the meat rest before slicing to ensure juiciness.
