Description

A beautifully tender and flavorful Beef Tenderloin dish that brings family together around the table, creating cherished memories.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Beef Tenderloin (fresh cut)
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 2 sprigs Fresh Thyme
  • 2 sprigs Fresh Rosemary
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons Butter

Instructions

  1. Remove the Beef Tenderloin from the refrigerator and let it reach room temperature for about 30 minutes. Pat it dry with paper towels.
  2. Rub the tenderloin with salt, pepper, and minced garlic. Add chopped fresh herbs and let it rest while you preheat your skillet.
  3. Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  4. Carefully place the tenderloin in the hot skillet and sear each side for 4-5 minutes.
  5. Reduce the heat, add butter, and baste the tenderloin with the melted butter and herbs.
  6. Check for doneness with a meat thermometer; aim for 130°F for medium-rare.
  7. Transfer the tenderloin to a cutting board to rest for 10 minutes before slicing into thick medallions.
  8. Serve garnished with fresh herbs and side dishes like roasted veggies or mashed potatoes.

Notes

Avoid cooking the meat straight from the fridge for even cooking. Patience is crucial during the resting phase for best flavor and texture.
