Ingredients

- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 2 cups fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a medium bowl, combine berries, sugar, and cornstarch. Let sit for 15 minutes.
- Roll out the puff pastry to 1/8 inch thick and trim edges.
- Transfer pastry to a parchment-lined baking sheet and spoon berry mixture into the center.
- Fold corners of the pastry towards the center and pinch to seal. Brush with melted butter and egg wash.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before slicing and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
Notes
Serve with whipped cream or ice cream for added creaminess.
