Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- If using fresh cranberries, rinse and dry them; if frozen, allow them to thaw.
- Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg, orange zest, and orange juice; mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually combine with the wet ingredients.
- Fold in the cranberries gently using a spatula.
- Drop dough mounds onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space for spreading.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden, but centers remain soft.
- Allow cookies to cool before transferring to wire racks. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
