A creamy and flavorful pasta salad inspired by the classic Big Mac, perfect for family gatherings.
Ingredients

- 2 cups elbow macaroni or fusilli
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 cup pickles, chopped
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded or cubed
- 2 cups lettuce, chopped (iceberg or romaine)
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped (red or yellow)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and cool.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Drain excess fat and let it cool.
- In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and vinegar. Adjust to taste.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta, cooked beef, chopped lettuce, pickles, and onion. Pour the dressing over and gently fold to coat.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving. Serve chilled, garnished with additional cheese and pickles if desired.
Notes
Feel free to substitute ground beef with ground turkey or a plant-based protein. Use different cheeses for variations in flavor.
