Description

A creamy and flavorful pasta salad inspired by the iconic Big Mac burger, perfect for gatherings and picnics.


Ingredients

  • Rotini or shell pasta
  • Lean ground beef
  • Mayonnaise
  • Diced pickles
  • Mustard
  • Ketchup
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Shredded cheese (cheddar and mozzarella)
  • Diced onion

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente, then drain and rinse with cold water.
  2. In a sauté pan over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned, then drain the grease.
  3. In a large bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and a dash of pickle juice until creamy.
  4. Add the cooled pasta, cooked ground beef, diced pickles, shredded lettuce, diced onion, and cheese; toss gently.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, or more mustard if desired.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour to allow flavors to meld.
  7. Stir before serving and top with additional lettuce or cheese if desired.
