Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan with butter or line with parchment paper.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together whole wheat flour, ground black sesame seeds, baking powder, and baking soda.
  4. In another bowl, beat the unsalted butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
  7. Transfer the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  10. Dust with powdered sugar or serve plain.
