- 4 ripe pears (Bartlett or Anjou)
- 4 oz blue cheese
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
- 1–2 teaspoons honey (plus more for drizzling)
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme or rosemary (chopped)
- Parchment paper (for lining baking sheet)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut each pear in half lengthwise and remove the core with a spoon.
- In a bowl, mix blue cheese and cream cheese until smooth, then add walnuts and herbs, mixing well. Stir in honey.
- Stuff each pear half with the blue cheese mixture.
- Place the pears on a lined baking sheet and drizzle with additional honey.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, until tender and cheese starts to brown.
- Garnish with additional nuts or herbs if desired and serve warm.
Notes
Choose ripe pears for the best flavor and texture. Feel free to use flavored honey for a twist.
