Instructions

  1. Brown the butter in a skillet over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until golden and nutty.
  2. Whisk together dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  3. Combine brown sugar and granulated sugar in a large bowl, then add cooled butter and whisk until blended.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla, mixing until smooth. Stir in coffee powder.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  6. Fold in toffee bits.
  7. Cover and refrigerate the dough for at least 1 hour.
