Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two round cake pans.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and baking powder.
- Cream the butter until smooth, then gradually add the sugar mixture.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well, and then stir in vanilla extract.
- Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in butterscotch chips and toffee bits gently.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Cool the cakes in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
