- 1 cup pecans, finely chopped and toasted

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Slowly add the flour, salt, and finely chopped pecans to the mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough and roll them into balls, placing them two inches apart on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until just set but not browned.
- Allow to cool for about 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
- Dust generously with powdered sugar before serving.
