Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, followed by the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and a pinch of salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and fold in the sprinkles until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, smoothing out the top. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool completely in the pan.
- To prepare the buttercream, beat together softened butter and powdered sugar until fluffy, adding vanilla extract and milk until the desired consistency is reached.
- Once the bars are cool, generously spread the buttercream on top and add more sprinkles for decoration.
