A delightful twist on pizza that combines savory and sweet flavors with crushed candy canes for a festive touch.
Ingredients

- 1 package pizza dough
- 1 cup tomato sauce (or white sauce)
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup crushed candy canes
- Optional: honey or maple syrup, crushed red pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface.
- Evenly spread the tomato sauce over the dough.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese generously on top of the sauce.
- Crush candy canes using a ziplock bag and a rolling pin.
- Scatter the crushed candy canes over the cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.
- Let cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve.
Notes
For a twist, use barbecue sauce instead of tomato sauce or try using peppermint extract if candy canes aren’t available.
