Instructions

  3. Gradually mix in the flour and cornstarch on low speed, being careful not to overmix.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract and crushed candy canes, mixing gently to combine.
  5. Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop the dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden; tops should remain soft.
