A comforting appetizer of tender ground beef wrapped around molten cheddar cheese, perfect for family gatherings and game days.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey/chicken)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley (or Italian seasoning)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Sauté chopped onion and garlic in olive oil for 3-5 minutes until softened.
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, sautéed onion and garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, and herbs until just combined.
- Make small cheese filling balls from the shredded cheese.
- Flatten a small portion of meat mixture, place a cheese ball in the center, seal the meat around it, and roll into a ball.
- Place on a lined baking sheet and repeat with remaining mixture.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Let cool before serving with dipping sauces.
Notes
Customize with spices or different cheese blends. For crunch, broil briefly at the end.
