Description

Creamy Chicken Alfredo Stuffed Shells filled with shredded chicken, cheese, and a touch of fresh herbs, baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • Large pasta shells
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup spinach or other greens
  • Fresh herbs (basil or parsley)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the pasta shells until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the shredded chicken, half of the Alfredo sauce, cream cheese, garlic, and spinach.
  4. Fill each pasta shell with the chicken Alfredo mixture.
  5. Spread a layer of the remaining Alfredo sauce in a baking dish and arrange the stuffed shells side by side.
  6. Pour any remaining Alfredo sauce over the shells and sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes, then uncover and bake an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is bubbling.
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, substitute chicken with sautéed mushrooms or ricotta cheese mixed with spinach. Serve with a crisp green salad or garlic bread.
