Delightful and savory Chicken Cups filled with tender chicken, aromatic herbs, and creamy goodness, all wrapped in flaky puff pastry.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground chicken (or shredded cooked chicken)
- 1 package puff pastry (store-bought)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 8 oz mushrooms (cremini or button), chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley or thyme, chopped
- 4 oz cream cheese or sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: cheese (mozzarella or cheddar), paprika
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onions until translucent.
- Add minced garlic and cook for about a minute until fragrant.
- Add the mushrooms and ground chicken, cooking until the chicken is no longer pink and mushrooms are tender.
- Stir in the fresh herbs and cream cheese, mixing well until combined. Season with salt and pepper.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into squares to fit muffin cups.
- Press the pastry into the muffin tin, leaving some overhang.
- Fill each pastry cup with the chicken mixture and fold the edges over the top.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until the pastry is golden brown.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For a vegetarian option, replace ground chicken with sautéed spinach or zucchini. Use crescent roll dough if out of puff pastry.
