Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken nuggets (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups freshly shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Spread chicken nuggets on a baking sheet and bake as per package instructions or until golden brown.
  3. While the nuggets are baking, heat marinara sauce in a saucepan, adding minced garlic and a pinch of dried herbs for extra flavor.
  4. Once cooked, transfer chicken nuggets to a baking dish. Pour marinara sauce over nuggets, then sprinkle fresh mozzarella and grated Parmesan on top.
  5. Return to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
