Ingredients

- 1 cup Dark Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 3/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 2 large Eggs
- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1/4 tsp Sea Salt
- Optional: nuts or dried fruit
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt the dark chocolate and butter in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the brown sugar and eggs until fluffy.
- Combine the melted chocolate mixture with the egg mixture, stirring gently.
- Gradually mix in the flour and salt, folding until just combined.
- If desired, fold in nuts or dried fruit.
- Prepare a baking dish with parchment paper or non-stick spray and drop spoonfuls of batter onto the sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, until edges are set and center is still soft.
- Allow to cool slightly before cutting.
Notes
For a dairy-free version, substitute butter with coconut oil. To make these vegan, use a flaxseed egg or applesauce instead of eggs.
