- 1 box of brownie mix
- 1/2 cup butter (or melted coconut oil)
- 2 eggs (or flaxseed meal and water for vegan)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (or oat flour for gluten-free)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (or coconut sugar)
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to the temperature stated on your brownie box (typically 350°F / 175°C) and grease your brownie pan.
- Mix the brownie ingredients per box instructions in a bowl until smooth.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into your greased pan and spread evenly.
- In another bowl, cream together the butter and sugars. Add flour, vanilla, and some chocolate chips, folding until mixed.
- Scoop portions of the cookie dough and place them across the brownie layer in the pan.
- Pour the remaining brownie batter over the cookie dough layer and spread evenly.
- Bake according to brownie mix instructions (usually 25-30 minutes) or until a slight jiggle remains in the center.
- Allow to cool in the pan before cutting into squares.
