- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream the butter and sugars together in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
- Add in the eggs and vanilla, mixing until combined.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them two inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are golden and centers look soft.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For a chewy texture, slightly underbake the cookies.
