Description

Delicious brownies topped with fresh strawberries and rich chocolate ganache, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate (for ganache)
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream (for ganache)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8″x8″ baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, combine the butter and half of the chocolate. Stir until melted and smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  4. Once the butter mixture cools slightly, whisk in the sugars, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  5. Gently fold in the dry ingredients until combined.
  6. Fold in the chopped strawberries.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  8. While the brownies cool, melt the remaining chocolate and cream in a small saucepan for ganache.
  9. Once cooled, drizzle the ganache over the brownies and allow to set before slicing.
  10. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream if desired.

Notes

For a vegan option, use almond milk and flaxseed as an egg substitute. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
