- 4 oz (113g) bittersweet chocolate
- ½ cup (113g) unsalted butter
- ½ cup (100g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 egg yolks
- ¼ cup (30g) all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Grease ramekins with butter and dust with cocoa powder.
- Melt chocolate and butter in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, egg yolks, and sugar until thickened (about 2 minutes).
- Gently fold the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture along with vanilla and salt.
- Sift flour over the chocolate mixture and fold until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared ramekins, filling them about ¾ full.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes until edges are set but centers are still soft.
- Let sit for 1 minute, then invert onto plates. Serve immediately with ice cream or berries.
