- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup toffee bits
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Cream together the butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Mix in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until a soft dough forms.
- Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips and toffee bits over the baked base.
- Return to the oven for 5-7 minutes until chocolate is melted.
- Spread melted chocolate evenly and sprinkle with pecans, pressing them in.
- Let cool completely in the pan, then cut into squares.
Notes
For nut-free options, replace pecans with sunflower seeds. Store in an airtight container to maintain crunch.
