- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, diced onion, and spices.
- Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter.
- Place them on a greased baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes, or until cooked through and golden brown.
- In a saucepan, combine the cranberry sauce, brown sugar, and spices. Simmer over low heat until heated through.
- Ladle the cranberry sauce over the meatballs in a serving dish and toss gently to coat.
- Serve warm with toothpicks, or alongside rice or mashed potatoes.

For best flavor, let the meatballs sit in the cranberry sauce for a few minutes before serving.
