Description

A delightful blend of buttered popcorn, sweet caramel, and festive toppings that brings warmth and joy to the holiday season.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup popcorn kernels
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (or coconut sugar)
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 cup roasted peanuts (or nuts of choice)
  • 1/2 cup festive sprinkles
  • 1/2 cup M&M’s or chocolate candies

Instructions

  1. Pop the corn using an air popper, stovetop method, or microwave. If using stovetop, heat oil in a large pot, add kernels, and cover while shaking until popping slows.
  2. Prepare the caramel by combining melted butter, sugar, and a splash of corn syrup in a saucepan. Stir over medium heat until golden brown and reaches 240°F.
  3. Pour the caramel over the popcorn and mix it well with a spatula to coat evenly.
  4. Add in your chosen nuts, sprinkles, and other mix-ins, mixing thoroughly.
  5. Spread the coated popcorn on baking sheets to cool, then break into clusters and serve in festive bowls.

Notes

Ensure fresh ingredients for the best taste. Customize toppings based on personal preferences.
