Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. Cream together 1 cup of unsalted butter and 2 cups of granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add 4 eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract and 1 cup of milk until smooth.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour and 2 teaspoons of baking powder, then gradually incorporate into the wet mixture.
  6. Divide the batter evenly among the lined muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
  7. Bake for about 20–22 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Prepare buttercream frosting by mixing 1 cup of softened butter with 4 cups of powdered sugar, a tablespoon of milk, and a splash of vanilla extract.
  10. Color frosting green with food coloring.
  11. Frost cooled cupcakes in a wreath-like design using a piping bag.
  12. Top with red candies, edible glitter, and mint leaves for a festive touch.
