Description

A simple yet delightful version of traditional tiramisu, with layers of coffee-soaked ladyfingers and creamy mascarpone.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Mascarpone Cheese
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Coffee (espresso or strong brewed)
  • 1 package Ladyfingers
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • Cocoa Powder, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Brew a strong cup of espresso or coffee and let it cool down.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  3. In another bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
  5. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee and place them in a 9×9-inch dish.
  6. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers and repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  8. Dust with cocoa powder before serving.

Notes

Make sure not to soak the ladyfingers too long to prevent them from becoming mushy.
