Description

A delightful tropical dessert combining creamy coconut, ripe mango, and chewy sago pearls, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup sago pearls
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 can (400ml) full-fat coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar (to taste)
  • 2 ripe mangoes, diced

Instructions

  1. Rinse the sago pearls in cold water for 1-2 minutes.
  2. In a pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil, add the sago, and simmer for 10-15 minutes until transparent.
  3. In a separate saucepan, gently heat the coconut milk and add sugar until dissolved.
  4. Combine the cooked sago with the coconut milk, letting the flavors meld.
  5. Add diced mango gently to the mixture.
  6. Cool the dessert at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.

Notes

Garnish with extra mango slices or toasted coconut. Also pairs well with herbal tea or fruit salad.
