A refreshing and colorful salad featuring tender turkey, crisp apples, and toasted walnuts, all tossed in a creamy dressing—perfect for gatherings or light meals.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked turkey, diced
  • 2 crisp apples, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 cup walnuts, toasted
  • 1/2 cup grapes or dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients on a clean countertop.
  2. Dice the cooked turkey into bite-sized pieces, no larger than one inch.
  3. Thinly slice the apples and toss with a splash of lemon juice.
  4. Chop the celery and halve the grapes if using.
  5. In a large bowl, combine turkey, apples, celery, walnuts, and grapes or cranberries.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, yogurt, and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper, then fold it into the turkey mixture.
  7. Chill salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  8. Before serving, stir and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, substitute turkey with chickpeas. This salad is best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to three days.
