Ingredients

- 1 cup glutinous rice flour
- 1/2 cup water (or coconut milk)
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch (for dusting)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine glutinous rice flour and sugar. Gradually stir in water until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a greased steaming dish and steam for 20-25 minutes until translucent.
- While steaming, mix together the blueberries and cream cheese in a separate bowl, adding sugar for sweetness.
- Dust a countertop with cornstarch and transfer the hot mochi. Knead until pliable.
- Divide the dough, flatten each piece, place a spoonful of blueberry mixture, and seal into cubes.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour before serving.
Notes
If too sticky, dust with cornstarch. Can substitute blueberries with other fruits.
