Description
Deliciously fluffy and sweet cookies made with Cool Whip, perfect for family gatherings and easy enough for kids to help make.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup Cool Whip
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 0.5 cup granulated sugar
- Optional: chocolate chips or nuts
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the Cool Whip, egg, and vanilla extract, whisking until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and granulated sugar.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, folding gently until just combined. Add chocolate chips or nuts if desired.
- Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving about 2 inches of space between each cookie.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Allowing the cookies to cool slightly on the baking sheet prevents them from breaking apart when transferring.
