- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Mix dry ingredients: Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs and then mix in granulated sugar, yogurt, melted butter, and milk until creamy.
- Fold the dry mixture into the wet mixture gently.
- Prepare the cinnamon swirl by mixing brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Layer the batter: Pour half into the loaf pan, sprinkle half the cinnamon mixture, add remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon mixture.
- Gently swirl the batter with a knife or skewer.
- Bake for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For variations, consider adding nuts, dried fruits, or chocolate chips for added flavor.
