- 2 cups all-purpose flour (or whole wheat flour)
- 1 cup natural yogurt (Greek or dairy-free)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted) or vegetable oil
- Optional: nuts, raisins, or a dash of cardamom
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and sugars.
- In another bowl, mix yogurt, eggs, and melted butter until smooth. Gradually combine with dry ingredients.
- For the cinnamon swirl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Pour half of the batter into the pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon mixture, add remaining batter, and top with more cinnamon-sugar.
- Use a knife to swirl through the layers and create a cinnamon goodness.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for about 10-15 minutes, then on a wire rack.

For optimal flavor and texture, allow the bread to fully cool before slicing.
