  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted) or vegetable oil
  • Optional: nuts, raisins, or a dash of cardamom

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and sugars.
  3. In another bowl, mix yogurt, eggs, and melted butter until smooth. Gradually combine with dry ingredients.
  4. For the cinnamon swirl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon mixture, add remaining batter, and top with more cinnamon-sugar.
  6. Use a knife to swirl through the layers and create a cinnamon goodness.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool in the pan for about 10-15 minutes, then on a wire rack.
