- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced (cremini or shiitake)
- 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup maple syrup (for drizzling)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your Bundt pan.
- Sauté sliced mushrooms with minced garlic in a skillet over medium heat until golden.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat eggs and mix in melted butter and milk. Add cooled mushroom mixture.
- Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet mixture, stirring until just mixed.
- Pour batter into the prepared Bundt pan.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool for 10 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack and drizzle with warm maple syrup.
