Ingredients

  • 2 large navel oranges (zested and juiced)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Rinse cranberries in cold water, discarding any soft or brown ones.
  2. Zest and juice the oranges, keeping the zest for later.
  3. In a large saucepan, combine cranberries, orange juice, orange zest, and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  4. Reduce to a simmer, and stir in granulated sugar. Cook for about 10-15 minutes until the mixture thickens.
  5. To check doneness, place a spoonful of jam on a chilled plate and run your finger through it. If it holds its shape, it’s ready.
  6. Once thickened, remove from heat and pour into sterilized jars. Allow cooling before sealing.
