- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 cup fresh cranberries (or dried cranberries)
- 2 cups bread crumbs
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh thyme (or 1/2 tsp dried)
- 1 tsp sage (or 1/2 tsp dried)
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup chicken broth (or vegetable broth)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet, heat some oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onions and minced garlic until golden and fragrant.
- In a large bowl, mix the ground turkey, sautéed onions, minced garlic, cranberries, bread crumbs, and fresh herbs. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the eggs and broth, mixing until combined but do not overmix.
- Shape the mixture into balls, roughly the size of a golf ball, and place them on the baking sheet.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F / 74°C).
- Let cool slightly before serving with dipping sauces or a sprinkle of herbs. Enjoy!
