Description

A delightful blend of creamy goat cheese and tangy cranberry preserves, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz goat cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce or preserves
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary or thyme (or dried herbs as substitute)
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Let the goat cheese sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to soften.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whip the goat cheese until fluffy, adding herbs and honey or maple syrup at this stage.
  3. Gently fold in the cranberry sauce, reserving a few spoonfuls for garnishing.
  4. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, drizzle the reserved cranberry sauce on top, and garnish with fresh herbs or nuts.
  5. Serve with crackers, baguette slices, or fresh veggies.

Notes

For a warm dip, heat in the oven at 350°F for 10-15 minutes. Adjust sweetness to taste and choose a milder goat cheese for hesitant guests.
