- 2 carrots, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish

Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add Italian sausage and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add diced onions, garlic, and carrots. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until vegetables begin to soften.
- Pour in chicken broth, bring to a gentle boil, and stir in ditalini pasta. Cook until slightly al dente according to package instructions.
- Lower the heat and stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until smooth.
- Season to taste with salt, pepper, and fresh herbs.
- Ladle into bowls, garnish with extra Parmesan and herbs, and serve hot.
